PHIL CANNON – BLACKBURN ROVERS FC ACADEMY MANAGER
Last week I had a call from a player that I signed at Swindon Town Football Club when he was 9 years old Justyn McKay.
Justyn was a really good player who always played up a year in an older age group and coped really well.
Justyn stayed with the Club and at U16 Level signed a Scholarship contract with STFC.
Justyn was also being watched by several Premiere League Clubs but decided to stay with Swindon Town FC.
I lost touch with Justyn when he finished with Swindon Town FC only to get that call telling me he had moved to Australia playing football and coaching at Soccer X.
It was good talking about old times and some of the Tours and Competitions that we took part in.
As Justyn has just started out on the coaching ladder and is trying to gain his Coaching Badges I have no doubt that he will be a huge success in this new venture.
Justyn was a player who was totally focused and gave his best in every game. Although he was a quiet lad he was a winner and hated losing to anyone. His passing game was outstanding, short or long Justyn could see the right pass. I was fortunate to know all Justyn’s great family Mum Dad Grandfather and sister and they brought Justyn up to become a well rounded person with excellent people skills.
I have no doubt that Justyn will go on to become a success in whatever he puts his mind to.
Good Luck Justyn

Justyn and the Soccer X Team provide an excellent learning environment for boys and girls of all ages to follow their dream. After visiting Australia I can certainly see a lot of potential in the young footballers in the area, with Soccer X you will be able to develop your football ability covering the four corner long term development module we use in England; Technical/tactical, social, psychological and physical. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back out and work alongside Justyn and his team in the future” Swindon Town FC Phase Development Coach

Our son, Bryson, met the Soccer X team at the start of 2011 at an after school clinic. Bryson had a lot of fun enjoying the skills shown to him and getting a good understanding of the game.Bryson’s weekend game began to improve with the work he was doing with Soccer X after school programme, Bryson then began school holiday clinics and then as he continued his improvement trained with Justyn during his Soccer X Academy Programme to work on skills specifics.
This year Bryson gained the confidence and ability to be able trial in a Brisbane Development side. Justyn coached Bryson in Private Sessions in order for Bryson to be in the best possible shape for the best outcome. When Bryson was selected in the Development team and then into the Excellence Academy, we were the proudest parents as Bryson not only made the side but the side was a year above his actual age group a big credit to the confidence given by Soccer X.
We have seen first hand what Justyn and the Soccer X Team can do for a young players game which is why we highly recommend Soccer X and will continue with their coaching techniques and methods.
